There are also some features that didn't make the cut in this release, mainly Virtual CD / Previews and CD burning. These include: auto-tagging with audio-fingerprint-based lookups, casting to Google Cast devices, cloud synchronization/storage, improved search/filtering/auto-playlist functionality, playlist editing windows, improved play controls, artist/album information, and much more. While much of the work has focused on building a platform from which to grow, there are also many new features. It also improves developer interfaces so that it can be customized to a greater degree, and lays the groundwork to make it a more social experience. 9 years after the first release of MediaMonkey 4, we're proud to announce MediaMonkey 5! It's a complete overhaul of MediaMonkey that includes a foundation for a more modern UI, a framework that allows MediaMonkey better integrate with cloud/music services, and allows MediaMonkey to eventually become cross-platform and support different form factors.
